Faith .... Belief ..... God...
You can not imagine .....neither intencity nor context of this photo ......wait until I give full account of this. Photo taken today @ kukke subramanya during ritual conducted after noon meal.
Though it was a highlight of the 4 days visit...........over all visit itself was great. the Chariot festival of lord subramanya was an unforgetable event.
I took 2 days off in November and went to Kukke Subramanya, son of Lord Shiva. Place situated in western ghat region. Lord Subramnya temple is situated in this town. The area is surrounded by mountains, Forest and rivers. Natural scenery is amazing and spiritual experience is intense. Had opportunity to eat pure organic food at temple for all 4 days of my stay. They cook 100% vegetarian, 100% organic food in 100% organic way (using fire wood and steam). We celebrated Chariot festival of lord Subramanya on last 2 days of my stay. It happens once in a year. The devotees offer their prayer in lot of different way. One such way, which took my breath away……..was........devotees rolling on banana leafs used by other devotees used for the lunch. They believe it has the magical power to cure illness and resolve lot of the life problem. It was very intense to see this. I almost cried.

Some good news-every one talking!
Executives' Confidence Returns |
Executives are becoming more optimistic about the economy and the strength of the recovery. In the most recent McKinsey survey measuring executive mood, 51% said they think the economy is better now than it was in September 2008. That's up from only 34% who thought so when McKinsey asked the same question six weeks earlier. Things look even rosier in China, where 33% of respondents said an upturn had begun, compared with only 19% among all respondents around the globe. |
